Mixr Media announces the launch of BlitzNation.com, a community for passionate NFL fans from all across the nation, sharing their love of football with other die-hard football fans. It launched with 9 teams - Bears, Packers, Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, Steelers, Titans, Patriots, and Chiefs - and will expand to cover all 32 teams.

BlitzNation will be reporting the latest NFL news, have weekly features, cover live games, and offer opinions about a game from the start of kickoff till the final whistle, all from a fan’s perspective. The site aims to bring together football fans to discuss all things NFL under one umbrella. The site’s bloggers are NFL fans, sharing their love, knowledge, dedication and most of all, passion, for their favorite teams.

As part of our launch, we’ll be offering registered users of the Mixr Network a chance to win a copy of Madden NFL 10 or video game controllers for either the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.

BlitzNation joins Mixr Media’s other community sites, Ningin.com, Ziggytek.com, and future gaming community, Wirebot.com. All communities within the Mixr Media network are tied together via a common login system, which allows users to travel from one Mixr Media site to another and keep the same profiles, friends lists, and other personal information.
