Soooo….Kyle Boller is still pretending to be a quarterback. It gets me every time I see ESPN’s 10 second segment on the Ram’s latest loss and I see Kyle Boller taking a snap, I shake my head. I miss those days where Baltimore tried convincing the league he was a quarterback with the whole “First round pick” “can throw a ball 60 yards on his knees” talk. There is a reason Jeff Garcia made a few Pro-Bowls, wins almost wherever he goes and Kyle Boller, well, he can throw a ball 60 yards on his knees!

How did this guy get a number below 20, he routinely stares down receivers, he hasn’t quite figured out how to hit a receiver in the hands and he doesn’t seem use that arm to throw the deep ball as well as you’d think. He bobbles snaps, throws interceptions like it’s his job and has no problem taking a sack instead of making a completion. Furthermore, he’s the classic stat guy. When the opposing team goes in prevent, he’ll start making a few throws, get his yards, give general managers a hint of hope but then you look at his QB rating and see that he’s some 30 points away from being respectable and wonder why he is dressed as a quarterback. Did someone of importance miss his dressed rehearsal?

A list of quarterbacks or players who have thrown the ball in a NFL game, who I would take over Kyle Boller:

Ronnie Brown, Melwelde Moore, Antwaan Randle El, Joey Harrington, and let’s just generalize and say any Running back who ever successfully completed a half back pass.

Can we officially put an asterisk after Kyle Boller’s position? Why isn’t he in the UFL? I mean if Eric Krause is a high school coach somewhere, why is Kyle Boller still in the league? Do the Ram’s really get to Trick or Treat every Sunday? Something about this all seems so unfair.
