So it seems as though we have an unhappy Cowboy this morning, as Patrick Crayton has decided to rip the coaches a little bit. And why did he do this? Because the Cowboys’ staff failed to tell him that he was being demoted in favor of Miles Austin.
Two thoughts here.
One, great move by the coaching staff to insert Austin into the lineup. When you have 250 yards receiving, and two touchdowns, I don’t consider that a fluke.
And two, not-so great move by the coaching staff to not tell Crayton, but let him find out when Austin has been moved into working with Roy Williams in practice. C’mon guys. This is the pros. It doesn’t take much to talk to a guy, and let him know what is going on.
But, this is Cowboy land, and crazy things tend to happen.
