When Redskins’ owner Dan Snyder speaks, you’ll probably want to stop what you’re doing and listen. Not because you’ll gather any type of useful information, but because you’ll probably hear something incredibly hilarious. Snyder made some comments yesterday, and once again seems to have no clue as to what is going on with his organization.

Of course, the best quote in that story is this one:

“I feel bad for the fans. I feel sorry for the fans, and we’re very, very appreciative of our loyal fan base,” he said. “We just feel terrible. We’re disappointed. We’re embarrassed, and we hope to get it going soon.”

Um, Mr. Snyder, if you were that appreciative of your fans, you wouldn’t make the kinds of moves you make in the off-season. Sure, the Skins have talent. But when you go after every single big free agent year in and year out, and turn the roster over as much as you do, then you’re going to lose games. Ask Jerry Jones how hard it is to buy a championship. But, at least he’s done it before. You haven’t.

I, myself, do feel bad for Redskins’ fans. They deserve better. But they won’t get it until Snyder gets a clue as to what the real problem is. And that is him.
