Things have been going so well for the Indianapolis Colts. They came into the season sort of under the radar, and no one was really talking about them as being a true Super Bowl contender this season. All that has changed to start this year though, as we’ve reached Week 9, and Indy remains undefeated. But, the Colts have received some very bad news, as cornerback Marlin Jackson is out for the season with a torn ACL.
The Colts’ secondary has looked great in the past few weeks, and has really been one of the strong points of a team filled with skill at many positions. While Peyton Manning and the rest of the offense have been firing on all cylinders lately, the defense has also been fantastic. Jackson has been a staple in that secondary, and the Colts are going to have a hard time replacing him.
Mark it down folks. This may be the injury that keeps the Colts from winning it all this season.
