Who would have thought that the Cincinnati Bengals would be atop the AFC North as of this very moment. They have played so well because of the revival of Cedric Benson, who is ranked within the top 5 in most rushing categories. As for the Baltimore Ravens, they are 1-3 in their last 4 games, and a win today would put them back atop the AFC North. Continue reading on to find out what to watch for in this AFC North battle.
Containing Cedric Benson
In their Week 5 matchup, Benson carried the rock for 120 yards! That’s unheard of against the Baltimore Ravens defense. But, the Ravens are finally getting back in tune on defense. Their last game against the then undefeated Denver Broncos was dominated by their defense, who only allowed 7 points to one of the better defenses in the AFC.
Don’t Kiss The Baby
Well, like most people, I have no clue what Chad Ochocinco means when he says, “Kiss the Baby”. But what I do know is that whatever it mean, I’m sure its not something good. So simply enough, don’t kiss the baby. Speaking of that clown we all love, Ochocinco is feeling rather confident going up against the Ravens D this week. I guess that “cheap shot” by Ray Lewis wasn’t enough to put fear in him. But Ochocinco has been playing this season, and the Ravens will need to make him “Kiss the Baby”.
We’re Not In Kansas Anymore
For the Ravens, there not in Baltimore anymore, and so far this season they are 1-2 on the road. Today, they will be going into Paul Brown Stadium. As a visitor, it’s never an easy thing to travel from the comforts of home into a hostile environment. Most road teams will tell you that the best thing to do to silence the crowd is to score early. Even a field goal would bring the crowd volume down. The Ravens must get on top early, and allow their defense to put heat on Carson Palmer.
