The Baltimore Ravens are in need of a win this Monday Night to stay in contention for the AFC North title. Before this matchup, the Ravens were unsure of who they would be facing: Derek Anderson or Brady Quinn. Now they know that Brady Quinn will be up next, and hopefully for the Ravens, Quinn will be on the ground more times then Carson Palmer was last weekend.

The decision to start Brady Quinn is not much of a surprise. Derek Anderson clearly is not the answer. He has been given many chances to prove to the coaching staff that he deserves to be the clear cut starter, and he has always failed to impress. Brady Quinn brings more mobility to the Browns’ Quarterback position. With the Ravens’ defense not as fierce as expected to be, Brady Quinn may be able to put up decent numbers if he can get some help from his O-Line.

In my opinion, the Ravens better bring the heat early and often. Quinn is still an inexperianced NFL QB, and when the pressure is on, he is vulnerable to making mistakes. The Notre Dame phenom is hoping to have a good outing this weekend for his 1-7 Browns, who currently are a laughingstock among NFL fans.

I didn’t even think this was news worthy with how both QBs are playing this year… Stupid Browns…

The Browns need to trade Brady Quinn away so he can become good like Braylon.
