Football fans, get ready for an exciting new feature from all of us at BlitzNation. We call it “BlitzNation’s 25 Days of Christmas” and you’re going to love it. Here’s how it will work. Each day, we’ll give you one item on our Christmas wishlist, and we’ll continue to do this all the way up to Christmas day.

Now, these aren’t just any regular ol’ gifts though. These are gifts that we want, and well, most of these don’t actually exist. But we can only hope that they will be made soon enough, so that our Christmas wishes can be fulfilled.

So without any further ado, here’s today’s item on our wish list:

Now That’s What I Call Favre, Vol. 4 by John Madden

Description

A collection of the greatest songs by former NFL coach and broadcaster John Madden. All the songs on this fantastic collection were inspired by the career of future NFL Hall-of-Famer Brett Favre, and were all written by Mr. Madden himself while riding on his bus from coast to coast throughout the years.

Features

Such hits as:

“Boom Boom Favre”
“Brett Favre’s Gonna Beat Up Frank Caliendo
“4….4….4….4….4….4….4″ (yes, it’s a nice little 4 minute rendition of saying “4″)
“I Would Do Anything for Favre, But I Won’t Do That - ft. Meatloaf
“Favre Belongs With Me - ft. Taylor Swift”

My Favorite Feature

The 44th and final song on the track features a duet by Madden and Favre, and the song of choice is “Desperado.” The chemistry between Madden and Favre seeps through your CD player, though you’d have to watch the music video to see the true emotion being brought out by the two. There is a moment towards the end of the tune where Madden sheds a heartfelt tear, though this can’t be heard on the audio track, which proves Madden’s superb skill when it comes to his singing. This moment alone is worth the $4 price tag.

Special Bonus

Well, I’m not sure that this is really a bonus, but if you buy more than four at one time or buy less than four, you’ll receive a phone call from Madden berating you for not buying exactly four. It’s at least a four minute phone call guaranteed, or your money back.

Why It’s On My List

Anytime you can get John Madden and Meatloaf on the same track, you’ve got a winner. Anytime you can get a Madden-Favre “Desperado” duet on the same track, you’ve got something you simply can’t live without. My Christmas list would be a fraud without this.
