When the New Orleans Saints head home, they will be welcomed by thousands upon thousands of fans. In fact, it’s expected to be so many people that the city is going to shut down. But when the Indianapolis Colts returned home yesterday, they were greeted by…11 fans. I understand that they lost the Super Bowl, but shouldn’t there be more than 11 fans welcoming them back?

This is why Colts fans have been dubbed as bandwagon fans, the ones who follow the team when the team is doing good and/or enters the postseason. But come that first loss, everyone decides to forget their season even existed. I’m sorry Indy fans, but you are pathetic.

From personal experience, when the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX, there were a lot more then a measly total of 11 fans welcoming them back to the city of Brotherly Love. But then again, some people claim Philly fans to be the greatest in sports, even though they are also labeled as the “dirtiest” fans. But no matter what, they supported their team, unlike Indy fans.

Welcome back home Peyton Manning, how’s it feel to know that you have 11 passionate fans?
