While this story may not be huge at this exact moment, you can bet that this one could potentially have some league ramifications in the near future. And what story might this be? Ya know, the one where Chiefs’ wide receiver Dwayne Bowe tells ESPN The Magazine secrets, which deal with the tale of veteran Chiefs organizing and “importing” women to San Diego during a road trip to face the Chargers.

If you read the quotes in the story on PFT, you’ll see that there are some words there of interest. Such as “importing” and “younger guys don’t have the money to do it.” Those might catch the attention of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and I’m not even sure Bowe knows what potential type of mess he has gotten himself into.

Look, I know that this happens all around the league, and has been happening for years and years. There are plenty of groupies out there looking to find the next athlete on the list, and we know what happens from there. But you don’t mention these types of things in that much detail in one of the biggest magazine publications in the world.

On the stupid scale, this one is very high up there, considering all the bad pub for certain NFL players as of late. There’s no doubt that he’ll be hearing from the league office soon enough, and we’ll see if there are any kind of punishments handed down in this situation.
