While Tony Dungy may no longer be the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, he’ll always be a Colt in the eyes of Indy fans. The work Dungy did on the field, and the work that he continues to do off the field is something that will never be replaced, as this is one of the best guys you’ll ever see in this sport. More »

After the comments of Tony Dorsett earlier in the week, that got me to thinking about Romo’s place among the rest of the NFL quarterbacks. Dorsett seemed to think that Romo hadn’t earned the star label that he has been given, while Jerry Jones has all the confidence in the world in his quarterback.

That leads us to today’s poll question: More »

There’s a lot of talk right now about who the best team in the league is at this point, and even though we’re only two games in, there’s nothing wrong with a little debate on this subject.

Is it the Baltimore Ravens, who are 2-0 after a big victory in San Diego? Is it the New York Giants, who are coming off a last-second win in Dallas? Or is it the New Orleans Saints, who have managed to put up 40+ in their first two games this season? More »

There’s a reason why we have a picture of Cowboy great Tony Dorsett above. That’s because he caused quite a stir this week with his comments on quarterback Tony Romo, and his place among the league’s best QB’s.

Dorsett wasn’t the only one with some interesting comments this week, so let’s get right to the quotes of the week. More »

In what should come as no surprise really, the league has fined Cowboys’ offensive lineman Flozell Adams for tripping New York Giants’ defensive end Justin Tuck, and for kicking Osi Umenyiora. More »

In trying to move on from the loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night, I thought we’d start looking ahead to the Cowboys’ Monday night opponent, the Carolina Panthers.

When I think of the Carolina Panthers, I think of Jake Delhomme. I also think of Delhomme’s monumental meltdown in last year’s playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals, in which he turned the ball over six times. Five of those were interceptions. Probably not the best numbers at the quarterback position. More »

It’s that time of the week again Colts’ fans. That’s right, it’s time for report cards! Most people dread getting their report cards, but that won’t be the case this week, as the Colts are coming off a 27-23 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.

But without further ado, here’s a look at Indy’s report card for the week: More »

There’s another famous athlete that comes to mind when I think of Peyton Manning. And he just happened to be on the sidelines for the Colts victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night. That’s right, I’m talking about Tiger Woods. More »

It’s report card day here on BlitzNation. For some teams, they’ll be excited to see their grades. For other teams, well, not so much.

I think we know where the Dallas Cowboys stand on that front. After the heartbreaking 33-31 loss to the New York Giants, the Cowboys won’t be too thrilled with the grades they’ll be receiving today. More »

Get you some water, Dallas. You deserve it.

It’s the morning after the Indianapolis Colts knocked off the Miami Dolphins, and I still don’t know how they did it. The Colts managed to pull off the 27-23 victory without even having the ball for an entire quarter. Kind of crazy.

Let’s take a look back at last night’s game, and break down a few key areas. More »
