The most anticipated question of the 2010 NFL Draft was this: where would Tim Tebow be drafted? Well ladies and gentlemen, we got our answer a few minutes ago, as the Denver Broncos selected Tebow with the 25th pick in the first round. Let the debate begin as to whether or not this was a great pick or not. More »

Some big NFL news dropped early this morning that involved wide receiver Brandon Marshall. ESPN is reporting that the Denver Broncos will trade Marshall to the Miami Dolphins for what sounds like a few draft picks. More »

A sad sight earlier today for fans of the Dallas Cowboys, as Texas Stadium was officially demolished. Down with the stadium went tons of memories of great Cowboys’ games, and plenty of other sporting events that took place at the venue throughout the years.

But Cowboy fans should still be happy, since their current stadium is about the size of a small country. I’d say that Jerry-World will probably rack up just as many memories as Texas Stadium did, and probably many more.

We’ve heard a lot of bad things about Ben Roethlisberger the past two years off the field. The first time around, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Reno, Nevada. He faced the same type of claim this time around by a 20-year old in Georgia. However, it looks like both will end in similar ways, as ESPN is reporting that no charges will be filed against the Steelers’ QB for his latest incident, and the official word should come down on Monday. Unless you were away from a TV, phone, computer, mountain, or anything else yesterday, you’ve probably heard the news that Donovan McNabb was traded to the Washington Redskins. So of course, all the attention is now turned onto whether or McNabb can lead the Redskins to the Super Bowl, and whether or not McNabb’s exit from Philadelphia could leave the Eagles in a world of hurt when it comes to their championship chances. But I’m more concerned about Jason Campbell. Where does he go from here? More »

When former Fresno St. quarterback David Carr came into the league, most thought he had a bright future. But whether it was talent or lack of talent around him, Carr never got things going with the Houston Texans, and has bounced around several NFL teams since then. Now, he heads out west to join the San Francisco 49ers, a team with definite questions at the QB position. More »

Sometimes, when professional athletes are accused of committing a crime, we first focus on the circumstances. After all, they are professional athletes, and they are pretty much recognized anywhere they go. When Ben Roethlisberger was accused of raping a woman in Las Vegas last year, some of us weren’t sure what to believe. Nothing ever really came of that, so the perception of Big Ben didn’t change a whole lot in the minds of many fans. But now, Roethlisberger has been accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year old woman in Georgia. This is where some doubt starts to creep in. More »

Free agency has officially begun, and teams are scurrying all over the place trying to make moves that will better their franchise. But the team that has made the most impact on day one has clearly been the Chicago Bears. With the Bears (and the NFL) entering a season of uncertainty, head coach Lovie Smith knows that this is a make or break year for him. So far, he’s making it. More »

Without question, the biggest free agent on the market this season is defensive end Julius Peppers. Peppers could be the missing piece in the schemes of a lot of different teams around the league, and you can bet that some of them are going to be trying their best to acquire his services. Well, it looks like the Chicago Bears may have done a little too much in trying to get Peppers to head north to Chicago. More »
