While it wasn’t pretty at all, the Dallas Cowboys did manage to knock off the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday in overtime, and take a ton of pressure off of head coach Wade Phillips.
But Phillips wasn’t the only guy who had a lot of weight taken off of his shoulders. I would say that Tony Romo and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has some stress relieved yesterday as well. More »
The Kansas City Chiefs were close to getting their first win of the season yesterday against the Dallas Cowboys, but of course the blew it in overtime by allowing Tony Romo to hook up with Miles Austin for a 60 yard touchdown pass. Although they lost, I was impressed with their performance for this first time this season. Here’s some positives and negatives I noticed while watching the game. More »
The Kansas City Chiefs teased all of their fans at Arrowhead today. For just a few minutes it looked like they had a chance to upset the Dallas Cowboys and get their first win of the season, but in overtime they had a defensive breakdown and allowed Tony Romo to hit Miles Austin for the 60-yard game winning touchdown pass. The Cowboys won the game, 26-20. More »
Congratulations, Jerry Jones. Thanks to a guy named Miles Austin, you don’t have to call Wade Phillips into your office tonight and officially give him the pink slip. So Austin better get a few extra pieces of fruit in the Christmas basket this year. More »
The Kansas City Chiefs are just 24 hours away from beginning the season with a winless 0-5 record. Admittedly, I’m a pessimist, but not even Tony Romo at his worst can’t make the Chiefs’ defense look any good. Anyways, here’s our preview of the matchup. More »
Alright Cowboy fans, we’re one day away from a showdown with the win-less Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. You never really feel comfortable when you play a team that has yet to win a game, because you always think that this game could be the game that they turn it around.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen here. Anyways, on to the preview! More »
The Dallas Cowboys will be traveling to Arrowhead this weekend to take on the Chiefs, and it’s time to get you prepared for the game.
Yes, the Chiefs are 0-4. But let’s remember Cowboy fans, we’re not playing so hot right now. Tony Romo has played well every other game (which means he’ll play good this week), and the secondary isn’t the greatest in the world either.
However, let’s take a look at three things you need to know about this week’s opponent: More »

Who’s to blame for the offensive slump the Dallas Cowboys are in at the moment? While the defense is playing great “most” of the game the passing game is awful at best the last two games. Most of the office chatter consisted of stuff like “You guys need a new quarterback” to “Tony Romo at his best” and back to “Time to replace Romo”. I had to defend my boy Tony Romo all week and will continue to do so until the play calling changes. The Dallas Cowboys need to decide what type of quarterback they want Romo to be. Do they want a gunslinger that can use his athletic ability to make key plays at critical times? Do they want a game manager that can hand the ball off and hit a 6-7 yard pass on every third down like the old Trent Dilfer? MAKE UP YOUR MIND JERRY JONES! More »
I’m sure that most of you have heard about the Tony Romo third down/fourth down incident by now, but I just wanted to revisit this a little bit.
In case you haven’t heard, reports are that Romo didn’t know that it was fourth down on the final pass play that was knocked down in the endzone. But Romo talked about it being some type of error on the down marker on the sidelines. More »
Ah these dreaded report cards. It’s never good to see them after a loss, and that is certainly the case this week as the Dallas Cowboys are coming off of a loss in Denver against the Broncos.
If we stopped the report card after the first quarter, everyone would get a sucker and all would be well in Cowboy country. But that’s not how it works.
So here’s the report card for Week 4: More »
