The Madden curse continues to live on, even through the 2010 cover. The creators at EA tried to overcome the jinx by placing two prestigious athletes on the cover of Madden 10, Troy Polamalu and Larry Fitzgerald, but Polamalu missed many games after suffering an injury to his left knee, while Fitzgerald managed to avoid a “serious injury”, only a knee contusion and knee sprain during Week 15. Coming off of an embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints, the New York Giants will look to bounce back on national TV against the Arizona Cardinals. The Giants’ pass rush will need to get to quarterback Kurt Warner if they want to have any chance of keeping this big play offense off of the scoreboard too much.
