The word for last week’s game was “supremacy” and as the New York Giants learned the New Orleans Saints are the supreme team in the NFC possibly the league. Last week’s clobbering left the Giants to deal with the reality of being just a good team, with a lot to prove as they look to redeem themselves Sunday night against the Arizona Cardinals. More »

The San Diego Chargers and the Denver Broncos could not be in two completely different places. The Broncos are riding the wave of a perfect season so far, with little clouds in the forecast. First year head coach Josh McDaniels has his team believing in themselves, even wide receiver Brandon Marshall has bought into the system. Leaving things good in Denver. More »

Panthers are coming off another lose and another game before Jake Delhomme might be hearing trade rumors. The last game saw the defense play well but Delhomme and the offense couldn’t come through like they had planned.

In order to defeat the Cowboys:

- Delhomme needs to cut the turnovers and have a solid outing.

- Defense needs to play like they did last week. If they can keep Dallas under 20 points, they may have a shot.

Prediction: Cowboys 34 - Panthers 17

9:12 EST: Sorry for the delay in live blogging everyone. But it’s the end of the first quarter, no one’s scored yet, so still a lot of Football to go!

This isn’t your typical great Monday night matchup but the Dolphins are looking to bounce back from last weekend’s loss. The Dolphins need a win pretty badly and hopefully they can get it against the Colts, who really didn’t have a sharp game last week. Chad Pennington lost a fumble, threw an interception, and was sacked four times last week, so he’s hoping his offensive line could help him out and have a much better overall game. The running game is also going to need to get going with Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown sharing touches. More »

Today we’ll either see the wrath of Bill Belichick or the Jets will stamp themselves as team to be reckoned with in the AFC East. The Jets have been running their mouth the entire week and they better be able to back it up against a Patriot team that’s experienced, always poised to put up amazing numbers, especially against a division rival. If the Jets want any chance at success today, Mark Sanchez has to play better than he did last week and not make the rookie mistakes everyone is waiting for him to make. But in the end, the more experiences, grizzled veterans will win out.

Dallas wins this game and here’s how. The Cowboys offense is explosive and found a winning formula in week one, While the Giants looked good as well in week one, their failure to convert in the red zone is an issue going into a big game like this. It’s Sunday night, Dallas is at home, new stadium and a defense trying to make up for a bad showing last week.

The Giants have an impressive defense and a offense in transition, and they will make it hard for Dallas, but until the offense finds a solution for their red zone deficiencies, I’m going to worry. I hate saying it and I hope I’m wrong, but this will be a hard fought loss, for the Giants.

Final Score:
Dallas Cowboys: 28 New York Giants: 21
