It’s report card day here on BlitzNation, and the Dallas Cowboys are coming off of what is probably their most impressive victory of the season, as they knocked off the Atlanta Falcons 37-21 on Sunday.

Another week, another win for the Indianapolis Colts. And now that report card time has rolled around for the week, the Colts will have reason to be happy, since their grades are going to be through the roof this week. But hey, that’s what happens when you beat a team 42-6 in the NFL.

We got a big NFC East showdown tonight in the nation’s capital, as the Washington Redskins and their juggernaut of an offense host the Philadelphia Eagles, or also known as the team that lost to the Raiders.

So while we’re all trying to forget that embarrassing performance in Cincinnati yesterday, I’m going to attempt to figure out where the Bears are going wrong right now. It’s not like they are a horrible football team, they just aren’t doing some very important things right now, which is leading to these losses the past two weeks. More »


When I wrote my Falcons at Cowboys preview, I’m pretty sure I put in there somewhere that we simply couldn’t expect Miles Austin to catch a lot of balls and have an incredible game every single time the Cowboys take the field. Well, I was obviously wrong. Austin got it done again today, racking up 171 receiving yards on just six catches and two scores, as Dallas knocked off Atlanta 37-21.

Quite honestly, we all knew what was going to happen in St. Louis today. The Rams are beyond awful, and the Indianapolis Colts are beyond awesome. So it was just a matter of time before the Colts went out and picked up their sixth victory in as many games, and kept the Rams winless. I predicted a 38-13 final, but it simply wasn’t that close, as the Colts made it a 42-6 final.

There’s a big NFC showdown taking place in Arlington tomorrow, as the Dallas Cowboyshost the Atlanta Falcons. A lot of people are labeling this game as a must-win for the Cowboys if they want to have a shot at the playoffs this season, and that may be true. With the Giants and Eagles both having winnable games this week, the Cowboys need to try and keep up with a victory of their own.

I know what you’re thinking Colts’ fans. Is there really a need for a preview this week? I mean, we are undefeated, and the Rams are, well, defeated. It shouldn’t be much of a contest, should it? Ladies and gentlemen, that’s why they play the games.
