In a sport like American football, injuries are just a part of the game. Players have played through injuries ever since the game existed, and for the average fan, it’s hard to imagine playing through some of these particular injuries. Which is why I am fairly confident that no one will ever question Dallas Cowboys‘ running back Marion Barber’s toughness again. Word came out today that Barber tore his quad all the way back in Week 2 of the season, but just kept on playing throughout the rest of the season. More »
The killer combination of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Miles Austin arose from the dead and destroyed yet another team as they lead the now 8-3 Cowboys to a 24-7 victory over the Oakland Raiders. More »
It’s report card day here on BlitzNation, and the Dallas Cowboys are coming off of what is probably their most impressive victory of the season, as they knocked off the Atlanta Falcons 37-21 on Sunday.
So good grades are bound to be all over the place this week, so let’s get right to it. More »
There’s a big NFC showdown taking place in Arlington tomorrow, as the Dallas Cowboyshost the Atlanta Falcons. A lot of people are labeling this game as a must-win for the Cowboys if they want to have a shot at the playoffs this season, and that may be true. With the Giants and Eagles both having winnable games this week, the Cowboys need to try and keep up with a victory of their own.
With that being said, let’s get to this week’s preview. More »
It’s report card day once again here on BlitzNation, and it’s time to hand out grades to the Dallas Cowboys. Coming off of a 26-20 overtime victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, what kind of grades will the bunch from Dallas get?
Let’s find out: More »
Congratulations, Jerry Jones. Thanks to a guy named Miles Austin, you don’t have to call Wade Phillips into your office tonight and officially give him the pink slip. So Austin better get a few extra pieces of fruit in the Christmas basket this year. More »
I’m a day behind on the report card this week Cowboy fans, but the grades will definitely be better this week than they were after the loss to the New York Giants. The Cowboys got a big win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night, now sit at 2-1 before heading to Denver this weekend.
Let’s get straight to the report card for the week: More »
For those of you who were watching the game last night, you’ll know that it wasn’t pretty. The first 28 minutes or so were some of the most sloppy and uneventful NFL football you will see all season. All of that changed in the second half though, as the Dallas Cowboys completely dominated, and sent the Carolina Panthers to 0-3. More »
The Cowboys look to redeem themselves tomorrow night, and try to avoid a 1-2 start, as they host the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. I’d say that the timing of this game may not have been the greatest for Tony Romo, as he had that extra day to think about that sub-par performance against the New York Giants last Sunday night.
But we have moved on, and so have the Cowboys. Let’s take a look at this week’s game: More »

I feel the Dallas Cowboy offensive line will make the biggest impact on the game. They have the experience and the strength to get it done. Do they have the quickness to keep up with Umenyiora? They will need it. Will they be able to block Chris Canty? We hope so if they plan to win. They will have to protect the edges as well as make key blocks for “Smash, Dash, and Tash” Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice. The Offensive line often gets overlooked. As was mentioned last week they are the unsung heroes, the heart of the offense. I don’t remember anybody nominating the offensive line for NFL Player of the week. I did hear Tony Romo’s name mentioned a time or two or three. More »
