It’s been a long, nervous off-season for fans of the Tennessee Titans. And why shouldn’t they be nervous? Their best player has been holding out for a new contract and without that best player, there is no way that this team even thinks about getting into the playoffs. However, Titans’ fans can breath a little easier, as today that the organization has reached an agreement with all-world running back Chris Johnson that will give him the new deal that he’s been looking for. When you can find a montage such as the one above regarding an NFL player, that really speaks for itself in most cases. Often times all you can do is shake your head at the silly mistakes made by professional athletes and Cedric Benson is certainly a prime example of just that. After reviving his career with the Cincinnati Bengals last season with a one-thousand yard season and a trip to the playoffs, it appeared Benson may have finally figured things out in the NFL. He was released from the Chicago Bears in 2008 following a DUI charge for operating his boat while under the influence. Always willing to take a chance on a player, Cincy stepped up to the plate and brought Benson into the fold. With a great year both on and off of the field in the books with the Bengals last year, many pegged Benson as one of the best turnaround stories in recent memory. More »
It’s been quite the interesting day for the Tennessee Titans. For starters, Vince Young decided to act like a fool, and go after a guy over misrepresenting the “Hook ‘em Horns” symbol. And then linebacker Gerald McGrath was suspended four games by the league for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy. Luckily, the Titans had Rhodes scholar Myron Rolle to try and salvage the day for this organization. More »
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has set quite a high standard handing down brisk and strict punishments league-wide for any conduct he believes not to uphold the standards of the shield. That should lead fans to speculate that with the news of Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young’s altercation in a strip club early Sunday morning, VY’s discipline will be just as harsh as those who have messed up before him. We all know the precedent that was set with the hefty suspension for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his run in with the law so it seems inevitable that Young too will be disciplined just as stiffly despite his high profile position. The NFL has been trying for years to sell the importance of an exhibition all-star game to its players from a marketing standpoint, yet now that the AFC quarterback roster consists of Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans, David Garrard of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Vince Young of the Tennessee Titans, it doesn’t appear they are buying in; at all. With the withdrawals of both Philip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers and Tom Brady from the New England Patriots shortly after their respective teams were eliminated from the postseason and Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts having an obvious schedule confliction, the Pro Bowl has become more of a 2nd team event. Titans’ fans everywhere had to get a little nervous yesterday when Vince Young left the game with a hamstring injury. Luckily for the Titans, they were hosting the St. Louis Rams, and it really didn’t matter who was at quarterback, because the result would be the same. And after the win, the Titans get some more good news today, as we’ve learned that Young’s injury is not serious, and he’s listed as day-to-day on the injury report. More »
Well, the status of Kurt Warner was questionable heading into today’s game against the Tennessee Titans, but now it looks as though Warner will not get the start against the surging Titans. So you all know what that means. Matt Leinart is back in the saddle for the Cardinals…..at least for today’s game. And that also means that we’ll get Leinart vs. Young, in a showdown between two of the greatest college QB’s of all-time. More »
Much controversy was brought up about a high-five that was exchanged between Vince Young and referee, Jerome Boger. It was all over Houston talk radio and many people were led to believe that this was a sign of the refs favoring the Tennessee Titans during the game. An NFL Spokesman released a statement Tuesday about the high-five. More »

Tennessee Titans fans have a very short memory. This is both good and bad for the Tennessee Titan players. Throughout Vince’s career he has been both fan favorite and heckled. More »
After starting the season 0-6, the Titans now have won their last two games. Not only are they winning, but they are doing it in style. But why are they winning? Is it the sudden switch at quarterback? Is it LenDale White and Keith Bulluck’s reconciliation with the terrible towel? Or is it the veteran capabilities of new addition Rod Hood? More »
